2012 GIANTS Prediction

This is going to be a very interesting year for the NYG. The last time they were defending champs they were the best NFC team in the regular season. They were the number 1 seed in the playoffs and Plaxico shot himself in the leg and we all know what happened after that.

This Giants team is capable of having the same type of success but will face a very tough NFC East as well as a very challenging out of league schedule. At any level in this sport the key to success starts with the big guys up front on both sides of the ball. The G-Men have one of the best O-Lines and questionably the best D-Line in the NFL. The Defensive line is good enough to cover up for the team’s questionable line backing core and secondary. Being realistic I just don’t see them winning more than 10 games this season. I think this team could be 7-3 before the bye week but they finish off with GB, @WASH NO, @ATL, @BALT, and Philly My record for them will be 10-6 for a Wild Card birth and no SB this year. I just think there schedule is going to be very tough.

2012 JETS Prediction

The Jets have a mediocre schedule. I know everyone is all caught up with there lack of scoring in the pre-season but I’m not too worried about that. Even if they don’t score they can pull 5 wins out of this schedule. I do think they will have one of the leagues best defenses, which can keep them in any game. Tom Brady is still going to Shred them as they have yet to show they can pressure the passer without bringing the house. Tebow yes can be one of the greatest redzone threats this league has ever seen, you have to get to the redzone for that to happen though. In a league that is made for passing and scoring the Jets plan on running the ball and playing great defense. I don’t see how they can win more than 8 games this year. They need more depth at RB, WR and still need a pass rusher. I see them 8-8 at best missing the playoffs.
